In the heart of Nashville’s Music City Center, Talk to Me Mama’s Tracey Young and Tammy Steele presented Big Vocabularies Start with Little Children. A discussion of ways parents and professionals can work together to encourage children’s vocabulary development followed a brief, humorous overview of 20th Century misconceptions about how humans acquire language. Talk to Me Mama was invited to repeat the session in China.
