10 Words or 3000

It is possible to get our children out the door in the morning with only 10 words: “Get up. Get dressed. Eat breakfast. I love you. Goodbye.” If we want them to succeed in life, at school and at work, we will say more like 3 thousand words every morning before leaving the house. Sounds hard, but just say what you see. Name everything: the objects (oatmeal, pink shoes, purple winter coat), the experiences (brush your teeth), the feelings (so tired this morning). It doesn’t take more time, just more words.
